Bhopal advocate Archana Tiwari, who suddenly disappeared from Narmada Express on August 7, has been found twelve days later near the Nepal border in Paliakalan area of Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. Her recovery was confirmed late night by Bhopal Railway Superintendent of Police Rahul Lodha. He said that Archana is completely safe, but it has not been revealed yet how she reached there.
Relief of clue from phone call
Before the incident, the family was in deep worry, but the situation changed on Tuesday morning when Archana talked to her adopted brother on the phone. As soon as this information was received, the family heaved a sigh of relief and hope of her being safe arose. The police is also considering this conversation as an important clue.
Police investigation and questions
Police officials say that at the moment it is not clear whether Archana Tiwari was alone or was found with someone. These questions will be answered only when she is formally questioned. The GRP team is preparing to bring her to Bhopal, where further investigation will be done.
Resident of Katni, was studying in Indore
Archana Tiwari is originally a resident of Katni district of Madhya Pradesh. The 28-year-old advocate was preparing for judicial service while staying in a hostel in Indore. On August 7, she was going to Katni to tie Rakhi to her brother on Rakshabandhan. After leaving Indore, her mobile last showed location at Kamalapati station in Bhopal, after which the phone was switched off. Since then the police has been continuously trying to find her.
GRP put in all its strength
After Archana went missing, the GRP and local police made every possible effort. Searches were conducted in the railway track and nearby areas, CCTV footage was scanned and the cyber cell was also activated. Based on the information received from Lakhimpur Kheri, the Bhopal GRP team was camping there for the last three days. It was feared that Archana might be trying to cross the Nepal border.
Interrogation of the suspected constable
A constable Ram Tomar posted in Gwalior has also been questioned in this case. It is being said that he had booked Archana’s train ticket. In such a situation, the police took him into custody and questioned him about his role.
Police expressed the possibility of further disclosure
Railway Superintendent of Police Rahul Lodha said that after the recovery of Archana Tiwari, the real story will now come to the fore. He told that Archana will reveal the truth of the whole case only after returning to Bhopal. At present, her family has also been called to Bhopal.
